    1. Stern is New CEO for SunGard Availability Industry veteran Andrew Stern has been appointed chief executive officer of SunGard Availability Services, the company said Wednesday. Stern, 52, was previously chairman and chief executive officer of USinternetworking Inc. (USi), an application service provider that was acquired by AT&T in 2006. He then led AT&T’s hosting and application services business. Stern previously was a partner with technology consulting firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Stern holds a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. (Read Full Article)
