    1. Dunn gets contract for research building at energy lab in Golden, Colo. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory is expanding, and JE Dunn won the contract to begin design and construction for a $135 million laboratory and data center. The 175,000-square-foot building in Golden, Colo., will house 24 laboratories and office space for 200 to 250 researchers and support staff, the Department of Energy said Tuesday. The building — the Energy Systems Integration Facility — will be the only one in the U.S. that can do “integrated megawatt-scale testing” for alternative energy and energy-efficiency technologies, the department said.
