BICSI has announced the release of its newest standard, BICSI 002-2010, Data Center Design and Implementation Best Practices. Supporting the information technology systems industry, the BICSI’s standards programs is an ANSI-accredited, consensus-based standards development organization. BICSI 002 was written to address requirements, recommendations and additional information that should be considered when planning and building a data center. As a complement to existing standards it covers topics such as site selection, layout, thermal systems and security.
