AT&T Opens New London Data Center

AT&T is opening of a second London IDC (Internet data center) to meet growing demand in the region for its hosting services. The data center, which will also incorporate a new network node, is AT&T’s third in the UK and will be one of the company’s 38 global IDCs, which collectively provide over 2.6 million square feet of secure hosting facilities across five continents and support over 400,000 devices. AT&T has designed the power infrastructure at the newly-built site for high availability and to support high-density computing.
