Web Host Codero Extends Green Power Commitment

Green web hosting provider Codero (www.codero.com) announced Monday it has purchased green power for 100 percent of its operations.
In an effort to demonstrate its increasing commitment to renewable energy, the company's data center in Phoenix and its headquarters in Overland Park, KS, now run on green power.
Earlier this month Codero launched its green server bundle, also powered by 100 percent renewable energy.
With the purchase of 10,260MWh of green power, the Environmental Protection Agency estimates 16 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions will be saved - the equivalent to the annual greenhouse gas emissions from 1,409 passenger vehicles. Codero is a member of EPA's Green Power Leadership Club as a Green Power Partner.
