1. The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, formerly known as the Carbon Reduction Commitment, may be radically overhauled or even scrapped, according to a report in the Daily Telegraph. Details of the “stealth” tax featured in last October’s Comprehensive Spending Review and is due to hit over 5,000 businesses that have energy bills of more than £500,000 next year.
