Switch Vendor Blade Network Raises Funding

Networking vendor Blade Network Technologies has closed a Series B funding round with NEC Corporation, Juniper Networks and a third unnamed “technology industry leader” joining Blade’s founding investor, Garnett & Helfrich Capital, the company said today. Blade Network did not specific the amount of the funding, but said that it values the company at $230 million. Other sources place the new funding at $10 million.
