Web Host SunGard Appoints Four New Executives

Web hosting provider SunGard Availability Services announced on Wednesday it has appointed four new executives to its leadership team.
This is the first major series of appointments for SunGard since last October when the company named Nick Magliato chief operations officer.
According to the press release, the new appointments represent SunGard's "major commitment to investing in existing staff as well as attracting a broad range of talent and experience as part of a strategy to expand its services portfolio to meet evolving customer availability and cloud computing needs."
Industry veteran Michael Beck has been named senior vice president and general manager of managed services.
