Interxion Partners Launch Cloud Hosting Test Environment

June 2, 2011 -- Interxion, together with Microsoft, KPN International, NL-ix and HP, announced on Wednesday they have launched the Cloud Testla, a turnkey cloud hosting test environment for European service providers. The move comes nearly three years after HP, Intel and Yahoo launched "The HP, Intel, and Yahoo Cloud Computing Test Bed", another alliance established to test new types of cloud software and related data center management and hardware issues.
According to the press release, the collaborative project is designed to enable hosting providers to "develop cloud services and virtualized environments for their customers at high speed and with best-in-class performance guarantees."
