The storm continues around Apple’s new media service iCloud.
Like many of you, I’ve been waiting for this service for a while. I’m a big iTunes user, for both audio and HD video. I’ve saved tons of space because I don’t have to store CDs, and in what seems like no time at all I’ve amassed half a terabyte of media. Currently, this stuff sits on my external hard drive, and it would be a very bad day if that hard drive were to fail. Yes, I can back it up, and sometimes I do. But what if my backup gets crushed in some type of disaster? (There’ve been more than enough of those this year.)
