GSA to Issue GovCloud ATOs July

1. July will be a big month for GovCloud! After an almost two year procurement process and months of infrastructure assessments and security validations, Authority to Operate (ATO) certifications will be granted next month. According to GSA Portfolio Management Division Director Bill Lewis this lengthier than expected process will finally let  infrastructure-as-a-service blanket purchase agreement awardees start selling their cloud services from the Apps.gov cloud computing website.
