Many industry and public sector bodies set to be affected by a new government energy efficiency scheme next year are still confused about the details. edie conducted a poll at the beginning of September and followed it up with another last week to see if perceptions of the Carbon Reduction Commitment and Energy Efficiency (CRC) scheme had altered since DECC announced changes in early October. The September poll, with over 270 respondents, showed an even split, with half of those quizzed confident they knew what was required of them and the other half admitting to significant gaps in their knowledge.
