Web Host PEER 1 Opens 70M UK Data Center

October 17, 2011 -- Web hosting provider PEER 1 Hosting announced on Monday that it has officially opened its new 57,800 square foot data center in Portsmouth, UK. Located in Langstone Technology Park, the "green" data center offers managed hosting, dedicated hosting and colocation services. According to the press release, the data center has 11MVA of available power and room for 20,000 servers. The data center also provides a direct connection to PEER 1's 10GB FastFiber Network.
