HP signs up for efficient Norway data center
Norwegian real estate company Entra is working with HP to develop what it says will be one of the world’s most environmentally friendly data centers, in Norway. The 30,000sq m facility will have an energy input of more than 60Mw, will use free air cooling and will reuse 50% of the energy produced to heat nearby buildings. Entra Property CEO Kyrre Olaf Johansen said the data center, in Akershus Country, will be used for data processing and storage for the public and private sectors.
