    Vantage gets LEED Platinum for second Silicon Valley data center

    Data center wholesaler Vantage has secured the US Green Building Council’s highest-tier award in recognition of environmental friendliness of the second of three data centers at its Silicon Valley campus. The second data center, dubbed V2, received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum award from the USGBC, Vantage announced Tuesday. The company’s CEO Jim Trout said the facility was a highly efficient and hi8ghly engineered solution that was at the same time adoptable to customer requirements.
