News from the European data centre and tech community includes Interxion opening an additional data centre in Frankfurt, Adapt acquiring UK outsourcing and cloud company eLINIA, TeleCityGroup landing a luxury hotel chain as a client, and Equinix adding Deutsche Telekom to its Ethernet exchange. Interxion Opens Seventh Data Centre in Frankfurt – Interxion (INXN), a provider of carrier-neutral colocation services in Europe, added more than 1,500 square meters of equipped space and 2 megawatts of customer power from renewable sources to its existing large data centre footprint, with its opening of its new data centre on its Frankfurt campus.
