1. Xand Hires New COO, Outlines Expansion Plans

    Data Center Knowledge Cloud Computing

    Xand Holdings, a data center and cloud service provider focused on the Northeast region, has appointed Keith Markley as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and will oversee corporate strategy, planning and all of its operations. Xand is a data center service provider based in Westchester County, New York that was acquired by ABRY Partners in October of 2011. ABRY Partners, a Boston, Mass. private equity investment firm, has made several significant investments in the data center and communications space. In April ABRY merged Xand and Access Northeast to form one company serving nearly 1,000 customers from facilities in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
