    Stream Data Centers Completes Dallas-Area Private Data Center

    Texas-based data center developer Stream Data Centers announced this week that it has completed the construction of a 73,320 square-foot private data center facility in Dallas suburb Richardson, Texas, in the Telecom Corridor high-tech community, known for its concentration of tech employees. According to Stream, the 73,320 square foot facility (with 30,000 square feet of raised floor space) was built from the ground up according to the building code standard of Miami-Dade county, to withstand winds of 145 miles per hour. The company also used the construction and design practices required for LEED Gold Certification (though it doesn’t say the certification has yet been assigned).
