Equinix Partners with PT DCI to Expand into Indonesia with New Data Center
Data center operator Equinix announced on Tuesday it has partnered with colocation provider PT DCI to offers data center infrastructure and colocation services to customers in Indonesia. The move expands Equinix’s data center footprint in Asia-Pacific, which currently consists of POP’s in Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and Shanghai, where it recently opened its newest SH5 data center last month to meet the strong demand for premium data center services in China from global customers looking to expand in the market. The Indonesian market is considered the largest economy in Southeast Asia and its government has worked hard to develop an economic environment that will support infrastructure development and growth.
