SunGard Provides Hosting to BDP International

Global logistics and transportation management organization BDP International has chosen managed services provider SunGard Availability Services (www.availability.sungard.com) to ensure BDP's corporate information systems remain highly available and uninterrupted. According to SunGard's Thursday announcement, BDP will be using SunGard's AdvancedHosting, delivered at its newly opened managed services facility in Philadelphia, which combines a redundant backbone network with secure, always available hosting facilities and equipment. "With freight logistics centers in more than 20 cities throughout North America and a global network of subsidiaries, joint ventures and strategic partnerships in more than 120 countries, it is paramount that our IT systems are always up and running, keeping BDP clients and BDP people throughout the world connected at all times," BDP International president and chief executive officer Richard J.
