Data center operator Tieto (www.tieto.com) announced on Monday it is building a new, energy efficient data center in Espoo, Finland to meet the increasing demand for IT operating services. The company began construction of the data center earlier this month, and plans to open the data center by the end of the year. Initially, Tieto will build a 3,280 square feet of data center space consisting two modules, which it will later expand with independent 1,140 square feet modules.
