Here are the companies whose track record and cloud platforms have positioned them for leadership in this lucrative niche:
HP: The huge hardware and software giant designed and built a secure cloud computing platform for the Department of Defense. The cloud initiative, known as RACE (Rapid Access Computing Environment) is designed to reduce costs, consolidate applications and shorten delivery times for DoD computing projects.
