Hitachi (News - Alert) and Telehouse will be jointly developing a high density data center area within Telehouse London Docklands West, the flagship data centre in the London Docklands, U.K.
Hitachi had previously initiated the eco-friendly data center project with the intention to use the combined power of the Hitachi Group to make comprehensive power savings for datacenters, encompassing IT equipment, air conditioners, power supply facilities and the buildings themselves.
Now Hitachi has partnered with Telehouse who will provide them with collocation space within Telehouse London Docklands West, which will be officially provisioned as a high-density data centre area. The space is also meant for installing equipment built on Hitachi’s modular data center technology.
